Oak Harbor, Washington is located in the middle of Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. With a United States naval base located nearby, along with all of the incredible features of the rest of the island, it just makes sense to stop there during a visit to the area. Parents will like the opportunity of getting a photo of their kids in a stone Flintstones car. A fun selection of shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and movie theaters guarantee that there will be no boredom experienced there either. Getting out and about from Oak Harbor though and exploring the rest of Whidbey Island is also something you should do. Then you’ll get to see things like Fort Casey and Admiralty Lighthouse, Deception Pass State Park, Deception Pass Bridge, and several other small communities like Coupeville, Clinton, and Langley.
