La Conner has a very strong tie to the history and arts communities. There are even local festivals centered around these two interests. Some of the local attractions include the La Conner quilt and Textile Museum, the Museum of Northwest Art, Skagit County Historical Museum, Bearfoot Art Glass Studio, Pioneer Park, and several great wineries, shops, and antique stores. When you visit La Conner you can also get out on the local water, take walks along the Swinomish Channel, and even drive out across Deception Pass Bridge and explore Whidbey Island.
